ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಶವವನ್ನು ನನ್ನೆದುರಿನಿಂದ ಹೂಣಿಡುವದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸರಿಬಿದ್ದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿ ಚೋಹರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಫ್ರೋನನನ್ನು ನನಗಾಗಿ ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

ಅವನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಿಷಯ ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಆತನು ಬಂದು ತನ್ನ ಆಳನ್ನು ಗುಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನು ಆತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.
