ಆಗ ನೋಹನು ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೂ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಅವರ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರೂ ಜಲಪ್ರಳಯವನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಹೋದರು.

ಕರ್ತನು ನೋಹನಿಗೆ--ನೀನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಾವೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಬನ್ನಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಈ ಸಂತತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿರುವದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ.

Genesis 6:18
