Genesis 40:6
ಆಗ ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅವರು ವ್ಯಸನವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

ಅವರು ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಕನಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವವರಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥ ಹೇಳುವದು ದೇವರದಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಅವನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಐಗುಪ್ತದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಫರೋಹನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕನಸನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅವುಗಳ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಕಂಡ ಕನಸುಗಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಕಳವಳ ಗೊಂಡು ನಿದ್ರೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಯಿತು.

ಆಗ ಅರಸನ ಮುಖವು ಕಳೆಗುಂದಿತು, ಅವನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಪಡಿಸಿದವು. ಅವನ ನಡುವಿನ ಕೀಲುಗಳು ಸಡಿಲವಾದವು. ಅವನ ಮೊಣಕಾಲುಗಳು ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಬಡಿದುಕೊಂಡವು.

ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಾದ ನಾನು ಮೂರ್ಛೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಕೆಲವು ದಿನಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದೆನು; ಅನಂತರ ನಾನು ಎದ್ದು ಅರಸನ ಕೆಲಸ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆನು; ನಾನು ಆ ದರ್ಶನದ ವಿಷಯ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯ ಪಟ್ಟೆನು, ಆದರೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಅರ್ಥಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
