Genesis 35:5
ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟರು. ಆಗ ದೇವರ ಭಯವು ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಇದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಯಾಕೋ ಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಸಿಮೆಯೋನನಿಗೂ ಲೇವಿಗೂ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೇಶದ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಾದ ಕಾನಾನ್ಯರಿಗೂ ಪೆರಿಜೀಯರಿಗೂ ದುರ್ವಾಸನೆಯಾಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಪಡಿ ಸಿದಿರಿ; ನಾನು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮಂದಿಯುಳ್ಳವನು, ಹೀಗಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವರು. ಆಗ ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯವರೂ ನಾಶವಾಗುವೆವು ಅಂದನು.
2 Chronicles 14:14
ಅವರು ಗೆರಾರಿನ ಸುತ್ತಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದರು. ಕರ್ತನ ಭಯವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂತು. ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಮಾಡಿದರು.
1 Samuel 14:15
ಆಗ ದಂಡಿನ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿಯ ಸಕಲ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಭಯದಿಂದ ನಡುಕ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು. ಠಾಣದವರೂ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಗಾರರೂ ಹೆದರಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಭೂಮಿ ಕಂಪಿಸಿತು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಾದೊಡ್ಡ ಕಳವಳವಾಯಿತು.

ಒಂದು ಜೋಡಿ ಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಡು ತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ದೂತರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇರೆಗಳಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಸೌಲನ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಸಮುವೇಲನ ಹಿಂದೆಯೂ ಹೊರಡದವನ ಪಶುಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪಡು ವದೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನಿಂದ ಉಂಟಾದ ಭಯ ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಒಂದೇ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದರು.
