Genesis 34:27
ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರಿಯನ್ನು ಅಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಕೊಂದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಹೊಡೆದರು.

1 ಯೆಹೂದ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಜೆರಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜಬ್ದೀಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಕರ್ವಿಾಯ ಮಗನಾದ ಆಕಾನನು ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೀಡಾದದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡನು. ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಶಾಪಕ್ಕೀಡಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪರಾಧಿಗಳಾದರು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಕೋಪವು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಉರಿಯಹತ್ತಿತ್ತು.
