Genesis 3 - WBT (Kannada)

1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made: and he said to the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಮಾಡಿದ ಅಡವಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಸರ್ಪವು ಯುಕ್ತಿ ಯುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ--ನೀವು ತೋಟ ದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಯಾವ ಮರದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದೆಂದು ದೇವರು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು ನಿಜವೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿತು.

2 And the woman said to the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:ಆಗ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಸರ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ--ತೋಟದ ಮರಗಳ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ನಾವು ತಿನ್ನಬಹುದು.

3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.ಆದರೆ ತೋಟದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರುವ ಮರದ ಫಲದ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು--ನೀವು ಸಾಯದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಲೂ ಬಾರದು, ಮುಟ್ಟಲೂ ಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದಳು.

4 And the serpent said to the woman, Ye shall not surely die:ಸರ್ಪವು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ--ನೀವು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ;

5 For God doth know, that in the day ye eat of it, then your eyes shall be opened: and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ತಿಂದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತೆರೆಯ ಲ್ಪಡುವವೆಂದೂ ನೀವು ಒಳ್ಳೇದರ ಕೆಟ್ಟದರ ಭೇದವನ್ನು ಅರಿತವರಾಗಿ ದೇವರುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರುವಿರೆಂದೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿತು.

6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise; she took of its fruit, and ate, and gave also to her husband with her, and he ate.ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು--ಆ ಮರದ ಫಲವು ಆಹಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ರಮ್ಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದಾಗಿಯೂ ಅದೆ ಎಂದು ನೋಡಿ ಅದರ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ತಿಂದಳು; ತನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ತನ್ನ ಗಂಡನಿಗೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು; ಅವನೂ ತಿಂದನು.

7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked: and they sewed fig-leaves together, and made for themselves aprons.ಆಗ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳು ತೆರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ತಾವು ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಕೊಂಡರು; ಅವರು ಅಂಜೂರದ ಎಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಲಿದುಕೊಂಡು ತಮಗೆ ತಾವೇ ಉಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

8 And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ದಿನದ ತಂಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೋಟದೊಳಗೆ ತಿರುಗಾಡುವ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ಆದಾಮನೂ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯೂ ಕೇಳಿ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಿಂದ ತೋಟದ ಮರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಂಡರು.

9 And the LORD God called to Adam, and said to him, Where art thou?ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಆದಾಮನನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಎಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೀ ಅಂದನು.

10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden: and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.ಅದಕ್ಕ ವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಶಬ್ದವನ್ನು ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಅಡಗಿ ಕೊಂಡೆನು ಅಂದನು.

11 And he said, Who told thee that thou wast naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee, that thou shouldest not eat?ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಆತನು--ನೀನು ಬೆತ್ತಲೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದವರು ಯಾರು? ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮರದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿಂದಿದ್ದೀಯೋ? ಅನ್ನಲು

12 And the man said, The woman, whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.ಅವನು--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಆ ಮರದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು; ನಾನು ತಿಂದೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

13 And the LORD God said to the woman, What is this that thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent beguiled me, and I ate.ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ--ಇದೇನು ನೀನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು--ಸರ್ಪವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ತಿಂದೆನು ಅಂದಳು.

14 And the LORD God said to the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field: upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಸರ್ಪಕ್ಕೆ--ನೀನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಶುಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಡವಿಯ ಮೃಗಗಳ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಶಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಜೀವದಿಂದಿರುವ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯಿಂದ ಹರಿದಾಡಿ ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವಿ.

15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed: it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.ನಿನಗೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಗೂ ಸ್ತ್ರೀ ಸಂತತಿಗೂ ಹಗೆತನ ಇಡುವೆನು; ಆತನು ನಿನ್ನ ತಲೆಯನ್ನು ಜಜ್ಜುವನು ಮತ್ತು ನೀನು ಆತನ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು, ಕಚ್ಚುವಿ ಅಂದನು.

16 To the woman he said, I will greatly multiply thy sorrow and thy conception; in sorrow thou shalt bring forth children: and thy desire shall be to thy husband, and he shall rule over thee.ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ ಆತನು--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ದುಃಖವನ್ನೂ ಗರ್ಭವೇದನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವೆನು, ನೀನು ಕಷ್ಟದಿಂದ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೆರುವಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಗಂಡನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಆಶೆ ಇರುವದು; ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಳುವನು ಅಂದನು.

17 And to Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened to the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life;ಆದಾಮನಿಗೆ ಆತನು--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ತಿನ್ನಬಾರದೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಮರದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿಂದಕಾರಣ ನಿನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಶಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಜೀವನದ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ದುಃಖದಲ್ಲೇ ನೀನು ಅದರ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವಿ.

18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field;ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಭೂಮಿಯು ಮುಳ್ಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ದತ್ತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿನಗಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುವದು. ನೀನು ಹೊಲದ ಪಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವಿ.

19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou shalt return to the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and to dust shalt thou return.ನೀನು ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಣೆಯ ಬೆವರನ್ನು ಸುರಿಸಿ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಅದ ರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ (ಮಣ್ಣಿನೊಳಗಿಂದ) ತೆಗೆಯ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟೆ; ನೀನು ಮಣ್ಣಾಗಿದ್ದಿ, ಮಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಿ ಅಂದನು.

20 And Adam called his wife's name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.ಆದಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹವ್ವ ಎಂದು ಕರೆದನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ವರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಾಯಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ.

21 For Adam also and for his wife the LORD God made coats of skins, and clothed them.ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಆದಾಮನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಗೂ ಚರ್ಮದ ಅಂಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೊಡಿಸಿದನು.

22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man hath become as one of us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he should put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:ಇದ ಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು--ಇಗೋ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಳ್ಳೇದರ ಕೆಟ್ಟದರ ಭೇದವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಂತಾದನು; ಈಗ ಅವನು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷದ ಫಲವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ತಿಂದು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಬದುಕ ಬಾರದು ಅಂದನು.

23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಯಾವದರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದನೋ ಆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸಾಯಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಏದೆನ್‌ ತೋಟದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

24 So he drove out the man: and he placed at the east of the garden of Eden Cherubim, and a flaming sword which turned every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.ಹೀಗೆ ಆತನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಏದೆನ್‌ ತೋಟದ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆರೂಬಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತುವ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.
