ಹೀಗೆ ಆತನು ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನು ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ಜೀವವೃಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಕಾಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಏದೆನ್‌ ತೋಟದ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆರೂಬಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸುತ್ತುವ ಜ್ವಾಲೆಯ ಕತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ಇರಿಸಿದನು.
