ಯಾಕೋಬನು ರಾಹೇಲಳಿಗೆ ತಾನು ಆಕೆಯ ತಂದೆಗೆ ಸೋದರಳಿಯನೆಂದೂ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳ ಮಗನೆಂದೂ ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಆಕೆಯು ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದಳು.
