Genesis 25 - ASV (Kannada)

1 And Abraham took another wife, and her name was Keturah.ತರುವಾಯ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವಳ ಹೆಸರು ಕೆಟೂರಳು.

2 And she bare him Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah.ಆಕೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಜಿಮ್ರಾನ್‌ ಯೊಕ್ಷಾನ್‌ ಮೆದಾನ್‌ ಮಿದ್ಯಾನ್‌ ಇಷ್ಬಾಕ್‌ ಶೂಹ ಎಂಬವರನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.

3 And Jokshan begat Sheba, and Dedan. And the sons of Dedan were Asshurim, and Letushim, and Leummim.ಯೊಕ್ಷಾನನಿಂದ ಶೆಬಾ ದೆದಾನ್‌ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ದೆದಾನನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಅಶ್ಶೂರ್ಯರೂ ಲೆಟೂಶ್ಯರೂ ಲೆಯುಮ್ಯರೂ.

4 And the sons of Midian: Ephah, and Epher, and Hanoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these were the children of Keturah.ಮಿದ್ಯಾನನ ಕುಮಾರರು ಏಫನೂ ಏಫರನೂ ಹನೋಕನೂ ಅಬೀದನೂ ಎಲ್ದಾವನೂ, ಇವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟೂರಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳು.

5 And Abraham gave all that he had unto Isaac.ಆದರೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸಾಕ ನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

6 But unto the sons of the concubines, that Abraham had, Abraham gave gifts. And he sent them away from Isaac his son, while he yet lived, eastward, unto the east country.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಇದ್ದ ಉಪಪತ್ನಿಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ದಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ತಾನು ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗಲೇ ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ವದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಮೂಡಣ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

7 And these are the days of the years of Abraham's life which he lived, a hundred threescore and fifteen years.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಜೀವಿಸಿದ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಒಟ್ಟು ನೂರೆಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷಗಳು. ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಪ್ರಾಣ ಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

8 And Abraham gave up the ghost, and died in a good old age, an old man, and full `of years', and was gathered to his people.ಅವನು ಪೂರ್ಣಾಯುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿ ತುಂಬಾ ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಸತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.

9 And Isaac and Ishmael his sons buried him in the cave of Machpelah, in the field of Ephron the son of Zohar the Hittite, which is before Mamre.ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರಾದ ಇಸಾಕನೂ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನೂ ಮಮ್ರೆಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿರುವ ಹಿತ್ತಿಯ ನಾದ ಚೋಹರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಎಫ್ರೋನನ ಹೊಲ ದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಕ್ಪೇಲ ಎಂಬ ಗವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು.

10 The field which Abraham purchased of the children of Heth. There was Abraham buried, and Sarah his wife.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಹೇತನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನೂ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಸಾರಳೂ ಹೂಣಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು.

11 And it came to pass after the death of Abraham, that God blessed Isaac his son. And Isaac dwelt by Beer-lahai-roi.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಸತ್ತನಂತರ ದೇವರು ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದನು. ಇಸಾ ಕನು ಲಹೈರೋಯಿ ಎಂಬ ಬಾವಿಯ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದನು.

12 Now these are the generations of Ishmael, Abraham's son, whom Hagar the Egyptian, Sarah's handmaid, bare unto Abraham.ಸಾರಳ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯದ ಹಾಗರಳು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹೆತ್ತ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ವಂಶಾವಳಿಗಳು.

13 And these are the names of the sons of Ishmael, by their names, according to their generations: the first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,ಅವರ ವಂಶಾ ವಳಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಹೆಸರು ಗಳು ಇವೇ: ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲಮಗನು ನೆಬಾಯೋತ್‌ ಕೇದಾರ್‌ ಅದ್ಬಯೇಲ್‌ ಮಿಬ್ಸಾಮ್‌

14 and Mishma, and Dumah, and Massa,ಮಿಷ್ಮಾ ದೂಮಾ ಮಸ್ಸಾ

15 Hadad, and Tema, Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah.ಹದದ್‌ ತೇಮಾ ಯಟೂರ್‌ ನಾಫೀಷ್‌ ಕೇದ್ಮಾ.

16 These are the sons of Ishmael, and these are their names, by their villages, and by their encampments. Twelve princes according to their nations.ಇವರೇ ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನ ಕುಮಾರರು; ಇವುಗಳೇ ಅವರ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ ಕೋಟೆಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರವಾಗಿ ಇರುವ ಅವರ ಹೆಸರುಗಳು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಮಂದಿ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು.

17 And these are the years of the life of Ishmael, a hundred and thirty and seven years. And he gave up the ghost and died, and was gathered unto his people.ಇಷ್ಮಾಯೇಲನು ಬದುಕಿದ ವರುಷಗಳು ನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತೇಳು ವರುಷಗಳು; ಅವನು ಪ್ರಾಣಬಿಟ್ಟು ಸತ್ತು ತನ್ನ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.

18 And they dwelt from Havilah unto Shur that is before Egypt, as thou goest toward Assyria. He abode over against all his brethren.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಹವೀಲ ಮೊದಲುಗೊಂಡು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದೆ ಇರುವ ಶೂರಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೆಲ್ಲರ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಸತ್ತನು.

19 And these are the generations of Isaac, Abraham's son. Abraham begat Isaac.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ವಂಶಾವಳಿ ಗಳು ಇವೇ; ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಂದ ಇಸಾಕನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದನು.

20 And Isaac was forty years old when he took Rebekah, the daughter of Bethuel the Syrian of Paddan-aram, the sister of Laban the Syrian, to be his wife.ಇಸಾಕನು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಪದ್ದನ್‌ ಅರಾಮಿನಿಂದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯನಾದ ಬೆತೂವೇಲನ ಮಗಳೂ ಲಾಬಾನನ ಸಹೋದರಿಯೂ ಆದ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು.

21 And Isaac entreated Jehovah for his wife, because she was barren. And Jehovah was entreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.ಆಕೆಯು ಬಂಜೆ ಯಾಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ ಇಸಾಕನು ತನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾದಳು.

22 And the children struggled together within her. And she said, If it be so, wherefore do I live? And she went to inquire of Jehovah.ಆಗ ಅವಳ ಗರ್ಭ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಶುಗಳು ಒಂದನ್ನೊಂದು ನೂಕಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ ಆಕೆಯು--ಯಾಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಆಗುತ್ತಿರುವದು ಎಂದು ವಿಚಾರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋದಳು.

23 And Jehovah said unto her, Two nations are in thy womb, And two peoples shall be separated from thy bowels. And the one people shall be stronger than the other people. And the elder shall serve the younger.ಕರ್ತನು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಇವೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಗರ್ಭದೊಳಗಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಎರಡು ತರವಾದ ಜನಗಳು ಬೇರೆಬೇರೆಯಾಗುವರು. ಒಂದು ತರವಾದ ಜನಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಬಲಗೊಳ್ಳು ವದು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಿರಿಯನು ಕಿರಿಯನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

24 And when her days to be delivered were fulfilled, behold, there were twins in her womb.ಆಕೆಯು ಹೆರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದಿನಗಳು ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾ ದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಆಕೆಯ ಗರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿದ್ದರು.

25 And the first came forth red, all over like a hairy garment. And they called his name Esau.ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನು ಕೆಂಪಾಗಿಯೂ ಕೂದಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಸ್ತ್ರದಂತೆ ಇರುವವನಾಗಿಯೂ ಹೊರ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಏಸಾವ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು.

26 And after that came forth his brother, and his hand had hold on Esau's heel. And his name was called Jacob. And Isaac was threescore years old when she bare them.ತರುವಾಯ ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮನು ಏಸಾವನ ಹಿಮ್ಮಡಿಯನ್ನು ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡು ಹೊರಗೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅವನಿಗೆ ಯಾಕೋಬ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟರು. ಆಕೆಯು ಇವರನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಾಗ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅರುವತ್ತು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

27 And the boys grew. And Esau was a skilful hunter, a man of the field. And Jacob was a quiet man, dwelling in tents.ಆ ಹುಡುಗರು ಬೆಳೆದಾಗ ಏಸಾವನು ಬೇಟೆ ಯಾಡುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾಣನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅಡವಿಯ ಮನುಷ್ಯ ನಾದನು; ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಗುಡಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಸಾಧುಮನುಷ್ಯನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

28 Now Isaac loved Esau, because he did eat of his venison. And Rebekah loved Jacob.ಏಸಾವನು ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡಿ ತಂದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಇಸಾಕನು ತಿಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದನು. ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದಳು.

29 And Jacob boiled pottage. And Esau came in from the field, and he was faint.ಒಂದು ದಿನ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಅಡಿಗೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರು ವಾಗ ಏಸಾವನು ದಣಿದು ಅಡವಿಯಿಂದ ಬಂದನು.

30 And Esau said to Jacob, Feed me, I pray thee, with that same red `pottage'. For I am faint. Therefore was his name called Edom.ಏಸಾವನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ--ಆ ಕೆಂಪಾದ ಪದಾರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡು, ನಾನು ದಣಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಎದೋಮ್‌ ಎಂದು ಹೆಸರಾಯಿತು.

31 And Jacob said, Sell me first thy birthright.ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು--ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನವನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಮಾರು ಅಂದನು.

32 And Esau said, Behold, I am about to die. And what profit shall the birthright do to me?ಏಸಾವನು--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಸಾಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನದ ಹಕ್ಕಿನಿಂದ ನನಗೇನು ಲಾಭ ಅಂದನು.

33 And Jacob said, Swear to me first. And he sware unto him. And he sold his birthright unto Jacob.ಯಾಕೋಬನು-- ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಯಾಕೋಬನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನವನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಾರಿದನು.

34 And Jacob gave Esau bread and pottage of lentils. And he did eat and drink, and rose up, and went his way. So Esau despised his birthright.ಆಗ ಯಾಕೋಬನು ಏಸಾವನಿಗೆ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅಲಸಂದಿಯ ತೋವೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು. ಅವನು ತಿಂದು ಕುಡಿದು ಎದ್ದುಹೋದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಏಸಾವನು ತನ್ನ ಚೊಚ್ಚಲತನದ ಹಕ್ಕನ್ನು ಉದಾಸೀನಮಾಡಿದನು.
