Genesis 21 - BBE (Kannada)

1 And the Lord came to Sarah as he had said and did to her as he had undertaken.ಕರ್ತನು ತಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಾರಳನ್ನು ದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ತಾನು ಹೇಳಿದಂತೆ ಸಾರಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

2 And Sarah became with child, and gave Abraham a son when he was old, at the time named by God.ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಮುಂತಿ ಳಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಸಾರಳು ಗರ್ಭಿಣಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವನು ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತಳು.

3 And Abraham gave to his son, to whom Sarah had given birth, the name Isaac.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನಗೆ ಸಾರಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಮಗನಿಗೆ ಇಸಾಕನೆಂದು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.

4 And when his son Isaac was eight days old, Abraham made him undergo circumcision, as God had said to him.ದೇವರು ತನಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ತನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಸಾಕನಿಗೆ ಎಂಟನೆಯ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುನ್ನತಿಮಾಡಿದನು.

5 Now Abraham was a hundred years old when the birth of Isaac took place.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಸಾಕನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ನೂರು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

6 And Sarah said, God has given me cause for laughing, and everyone who has news of it will be laughing with me.ಆಗ ಸಾರಳು--ದೇವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗೆ ಕೇಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಗುವರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ--

7 And she said, Who would have said to Abraham that Sarah would have a child at her breast? for see, I have given him a son now when he is old.ಸಾರಳು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಮೊಲೆ ಕುಡಿಸುವಳೆಂದು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಯಾರಾ ದರೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೋ? ಆದರೂ ನಾನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮುದಿಪ್ರಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಹೆತ್ತೆನು ಅಂದಳು.

8 And when the child was old enough to be taken from the breast, Abraham made a great feast.ಆ ಮಗುವು ಬೆಳೆದು ಮೊಲೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟಿತು; ಇಸಾಕನನ್ನು ಮೊಲೆ ಬಿಡಿಸಿದ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಔತಣವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.

9 And Sarah saw the son of Hagar the Egyptian playing with Isaac.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಐಗುಪ್ತ್ಯ ಳಾದ ಹಾಗರಳು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಹೆತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮಗನು ಹಾಸ್ಯಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಸಾರಳು ನೋಡಿ

10 So she said to Abraham, Send away that woman and her son: for the son of that woman is not to have a part in the heritage with my son Isaac.ಅಬ್ರ ಹಾಮನಿಗೆ--ಈ ದಾಸಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅವಳ ಮಗನನ್ನೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಹಾಕು; ಈ ದಾಸಿಯ ಮಗನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಾದ ಇಸಾಕನ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಾಧ್ಯನಾಗಬಾರದು ಅಂದಳು.

11 And this was a great grief to Abraham because of his son.ಈ ಮಾತು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ ಅವನ ಮಗನ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ಬಹು ದುಃಖಕರವಾಗಿ ತೋಚಿತು.

12 But God said, Let it not be a grief to you because of the boy and Hagar his mother; give ear to whatever Sarah says to you, because it is from Isaac that your seed will take its name.ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ--ಹುಡುಗನ ಮತ್ತು ದಾಸಿಯ ದೆಸೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ವ್ಯಥೆಯಾಗದೆ ಇರಲಿ; ಸಾರಳು ನಿನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕೇಳು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇಸಾಕನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪ ಡುವದು.

13 And I will make a nation of the son of your servant-woman, because he is your seed.ದಾಸಿಯ ಮಗನು ಸಹ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತಾನವಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಾನು ಜನಾಂಗ ವಾಗ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

14 And early in the morning Abraham got up, and gave Hagar some bread and a water-skin, and put the boy on her back, and sent her away: and she went, wandering in the waste land of Beer-sheba.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಎದ್ದು ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನೂ ನೀರಿನ ತಿತ್ತಿಯನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹಾಗರಳಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಕೆಯ ಹೆಗಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರಿಸಿ ಆ ಹುಡುಗನ ಸಂಗಡ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟನು. ಆಕೆಯು ಹೋಗಿ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದ ಕಾಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲೆದಾಡುವವ ಳಾದಳು.

15 And when all the water in the skin was used up, she put the child down under a tree.ತಿತ್ತಿಯೊಳಗಿನ ನೀರು ಮುಗಿದಾಗ ಆಕೆಯು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಗಿಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದರ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಮಲಗಿಸಿ

16 And she went some distance away, about an arrow flight, and seating herself on the earth, she gave way to bitter weeping, saying, Let me not see the death of my child.ಬಿಲ್ಲೆಸೆಯುವಷ್ಟು ದೂರ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಎದುರಾಗಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡು--ಮಗುವಿನ ಸಾವನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಲಾರೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಆಕೆಯು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವರವೆತ್ತಿ ಅತ್ತಳು.

17 And the boy's cry came to the ears of God; and the angel of God said to Hagar from heaven, Hagar, why are you weeping? have no fear, for the child's cry has come to the ears of God.ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಆ ಹುಡುಗನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು. ಆಗ ದೇವದೂತನು ಆಕಾಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹಾಗರಳನ್ನು ಕರೆದು ಆಕೆಗೆ--ಹಾಗರಳೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ವ್ಯಥೆಯೇನು? ಅಂಜಬೇಡ; ದೇವರು ಹುಡುಗನ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಅವನು ಇದ್ದಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

18 Come, take your child in your arms, for I will make of him a great nation.ಎದ್ದು ಹುಡುಗನನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಕ್ಕೋ; ನಾನು ಅವನನ್ನು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಜನಾಂಗವಾಗ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

19 Then God made her eyes open, and she saw a water-spring, and she got water in the skin and gave the boy a drink.ಆಗ ದೇವರು ಆಕೆಯ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದನು; ಆಕೆಯು ನೀರಿನ ಬಾವಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ತಿತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿ ಹುಡುಗನಿಗೆ ಕುಡಿಯಲು ಕೊಟ್ಟಳು.

20 And God was with the boy, and he became tall and strong, and he became a bowman, living in the waste land.ದೇವರು ಆ ಹುಡುಗನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನು. ಅವನು ಬೆಳೆದು ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿ ಬಿಲ್ಲುಗಾರ ನಾದನು.

21 And while he was in the waste land of Paran, his mother got him a wife from the land of Egypt.ಅವನು ಪಾರಾನಿನ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಿಂದ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಳು.

22 Now at that time, Abimelech and Phicol, the captain of his army, said to Abraham, I see that God is with you in all you do.ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನೂ ಅವನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಫೀಕೋಲನೂ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮ ನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಮಾಡುವದೆಲ್ಲದರಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.

23 Now, then, give me your oath, in the name of God, that you will not be false to me or to my sons after me, but that as I have been good to you, so you will be to me and to this land where you have been living.ಆದದರಿಂದ ನನಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನಿಗೂ ನನ್ನ ಮೊಮ್ಮಗನಿಗೂ ವಂಚನೆಮಾಡುವ ದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ದೇವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಣೆ ಇಟ್ಟು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡು. ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನೀನು ನನಗೂ ನೀನು ಪ್ರವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ಮಾಡ ಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

24 And Abraham said, I will give you my oath.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು-- ನಾನು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

25 But Abraham made a protest to Abimelech because of a water-hole which Abimelech's servants had taken by force.ಅಬೀ ಮೆಲೆಕನ ಸೇವಕರು ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡ ನೀರಿನ ಬಾವಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸಿದಾಗ

26 But Abimelech said, I have no idea who has done this thing; you never gave me word of it, and I had no knowledge of it till this day.ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು--ಈ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಯಾರು ಮಾಡಿದರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಅರಿಯೆನು; ನೀನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

27 And Abraham took sheep and oxen and gave them to Abimelech, and the two of them made an agreement together.ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಕುರಿಎತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು; ಆಗ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

28 And Abraham put seven young lambs of the flock on one side by themselves.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಹಿಂಡಿನ ಏಳು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆಮಾಡಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು.

29 Then Abimelech said, What are these seven lambs which you have put on one side?ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ಯಾಕೆ ಈ ಏಳು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದೀ ಅಂದನು.

30 And he said, Take these seven lambs from me as a witness that I have made this water-hole.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನುನಾನೇ ಈ ಬಾವಿಯನ್ನು ತೊಡಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆಂಬದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಾಗಿ ಈ ಏಳು ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

31 So he gave that place the name Beer-sheba, because there the two of them had given their oaths.ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬ ಎಂದು ಅವನು ಹೆಸರಿಟ್ಟನು.

32 So they made an agreement at Beer-sheba, and Abimelech and Phicol, the captain of his army, went back to the land of the Philistines.ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ತರುವಾಯ ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನೂ ಅವನ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿ ಪತಿಯಾದ ಫೀಕೋಲನೂ ಎದ್ದು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿದರು.

33 And Abraham, after planting a holy tree in Beer-sheba, gave worship to the name of the Lord, the Eternal God.ಆಗ ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬದಲ್ಲಿ ತೋಪನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು (ಪಿಚುಲ ವೃಕ್ಷ) ನಿತ್ಯದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿಕೊಂಡು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದನು.

34 And Abraham went on living in the land of the Philistines as in a strange country.ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನು ಫಿಲಿಷ್ಟಿಯರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹು ದಿವಸ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದನು.
