Genesis 20:16
ಸಾರಳಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಅಣ್ಣನಿಗೆ ಸಾವಿರ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯ ಹಣ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಉಳಿದವರೆ ಲ್ಲರಿಗಾಗಿಯೂ ಇವನು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣಿನ ಮುಸುಕಿನಂತೆ ಇರಲಿ ಅಂದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಆಕೆಯು ಗದರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಳು.

ಅಬೀಮೆಲೆಕನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರಿಗೆಲ್ಲಾ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಅವನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ಮುಟ್ಟುವವನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಸಾಯಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
