Genesis 18:10
ಆಗ ಆತನು--ಬರುವ ವರುಷ ಇದೇ ಸಮಯಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ವಾಗಿ ತಿರಿಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾದ ಸಾರಳಿಗೆ ಮಗನು ಇರುವನು ಅಂದನು. ಸಾರಳು ಆತನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಇದ್ದ ಗುಡಾರದ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಳು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂತತಿಯನ್ನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವೆನು; ಅದು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವದರಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.
