ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಹಿರಿಯರು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಾದ ಹಗ್ಗಾಯನೂ ಇದ್ದೋನನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಜೆಕರೀಯನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದರು. ಅವರು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇವರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಕೋರೆಷನು ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನು ಪಾರಸಿಯ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅರ್ತಷಸ್ತನು ಎಂಬವರ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೂ ಕಟ್ಟಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದರು.

ಬೆಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮರವನ್ನು ತಂದು ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿರಿ; ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿ ಮಹಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

ಆದರೆ ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾ ಬೆಲನೂ ಯೇಷೂವನೂ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪಿತೃಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೂ ನಿಮಗೂ ಏನು? ಪಾರಸಿಯರ ಅರಸನಾದ ಕೋರೆಷನೆಂಬ ಅರಸನು ನಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾವು ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲ್‌ ದೇವರಾಗಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅದನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟು ವೆವು ಅಂದರು.
