ಅಗ ಶೆಷ್ಬಚ್ಚರನು ಬಂದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿಸಿ ದನು. ಆ ದಿವಸದಿಂದ ಇದು ವರೆಗೂ ಅದು ಕಟ್ಟಲ್ಪ ಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಇನ್ನೂ ಮುಗಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು.

ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾರ್ಯಾವೆಷನ ಎರಡನೇ ವರುಷದ, ಆರನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಹಗ್ಗಾಯನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಶೆಯಲ್ತಿ ಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಚಾದಾಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೂ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.

ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಶೆಯಲ್ತೀ ಯೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಚಾದಾಕನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಶುವನಿಗೂ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದವರಿಗೂ ನೀನು ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

ಜೆಕರ್ಯ 4:6
ನಾನು--ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದೆನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಜೆರುಬ್ಬಾಬೆಲನಿಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಇದೇ--ಬಲ ದಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲ್ಲ, ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮದಿಂದಲೇ ಎಂದು ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
