Exodus 9:1
ಕರ್ತನು ಮೋಶೆಗೆ--ಫರೋಹನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಇಬ್ರಿಯರ ದೇವ ರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿ ಸುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸು.

| Pharaoh, | פַּרְעֹ֑ה | parʿō | pahr-OH |
| and tell | וְדִבַּרְתָּ֣ | wĕdibbartā | veh-dee-bahr-TA |
| אֵלָ֗יו | ʾēlāyw | ay-LAV | |
| him, Thus | כֹּֽה | kō | koh |
| saith | אָמַ֤ר | ʾāmar | ah-MAHR |
| Lord the | יְהוָה֙ | yĕhwāh | yeh-VA |
| God | אֱלֹהֵ֣י | ʾĕlōhê | ay-loh-HAY |
| of the Hebrews, | הָֽעִבְרִ֔ים | hāʿibrîm | ha-eev-REEM |
| Let | שַׁלַּ֥ח | šallaḥ | sha-LAHK |
| people my | אֶת | ʾet | et |
| go, | עַמִּ֖י | ʿammî | ah-MEE |
| that they may serve | וְיַֽעַבְדֻֽנִי׃ | wĕyaʿabdunî | veh-YA-av-DOO-nee |
