Exodus 22:11
ತಾನು ತನ್ನ ನೆರೆಯವನ ವಸ್ತುವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಅದನ್ನು (ಪಶುವಿನ) ಯಜಮಾನನು ಒಪ್ಪಿದರೆ ಅವನು ಬದಲುಕೊಡಬಾರದು.

| put | שָׁלַ֛ח | šālaḥ | sha-LAHK |
| his hand | יָד֖וֹ | yādô | ya-DOH |
| neighbour's his unto | בִּמְלֶ֣אכֶת | bimleʾket | beem-LEH-het |
| goods; | רֵעֵ֑הוּ | rēʿēhû | ray-A-hoo |
| and the owner | וְלָקַ֥ח | wĕlāqaḥ | veh-la-KAHK |
| accept shall it of | בְּעָלָ֖יו | bĕʿālāyw | beh-ah-LAV |
| not shall he and thereof, | וְלֹ֥א | wĕlōʾ | veh-LOH |
| make it good. | יְשַׁלֵּֽם׃ | yĕšallēm | yeh-sha-LAME |
