Romans 2:1
ಆದದರಿಂದ ಓ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೇ, ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವ ನೀನು ಯಾವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ನೆವವಿಲ್ಲದವನಾಗಿದ್ದೀ; ಹೇಗೆಂದರೆ ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೆ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವ ನೀನು ಅಂಥವುಗಳನ್ನೇ ಮಾಡುವವ ನಾದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೀನೇ ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಹಾಗಾಯಿತು.

ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಡೆಹಿಡಿದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಕ್ತಿಹೀನತೆಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನೀತಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ಕೋಪವು ಪರಲೋಕದಿಂದ ತೋರಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವನು ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡರೆ ಸುನ್ನತಿಯಿಲ್ಲದವನಾದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅದು ಸುನ್ನತಿಯೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?
