ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಾನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಒಂದು ಮಾತು ಹೇಳು, ಆಗ ನನ್ನ ಆಳು ಗುಣಹೊಂದುವನು;

ಆತನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಮುಟ್ಟಿ ಅವ ನಿಗೆ--ನನಗೆ ಮನಸ್ಸುಂಟು; ನೀನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಕೂಡಲೆ ಆ ಕುಷ್ಠವು ಅವನಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋಯಿತು.
