ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಈ ರೌದ್ರದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸ ಪಾತ್ರೆ ಯನ್ನು, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳು ಅದನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುವಂತೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಕ್ಕೋ.
