ಆಗ ನಾನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಏನೂ ಹೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು; ಆದರೆ ಆತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ನನ್ನ ಎಲುಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಚ್ಚಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಸುಡುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಹಾಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತು; ಬಿಗಿಹಿಡಿದು ದಣಿ ದೆನು. ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಆಗದೆ ಹೋಯಿತು.
