Genesis 46:4
ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಐಗುಪ್ತಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವೆನು. ನಾನೇ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ (ಕಾನಾನಿಗೆ) ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡುವೆನು. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈ ಇಡುವನು ಅಂದನು.

ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆ ನನಗೆ ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಸಾಯುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ಕಾನಾನ್‌ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಗೆದ ನನ್ನ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಹೀಗಿ ರುವದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಹೋಗಿ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಬರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.
