Acts 8:11
ಬಹುಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೂ ಅವನು ಮಂತ್ರತಂತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ಜನರಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆರ ಗನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಲೊಚಗುಟ್ಟುವ ಪಿಸುಮಾತಾಡುವ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರ ರನ್ನೂ ಕಣಿಹೇಳುವವರನ್ನೂ ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವಾಗ ಜನರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರನ್ನೇ ಹುಡುಕುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಜೀವಿತರಿಗಾಗಿ ಸತ್ತವರಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋಗುವದುಂಟೋ?

ಒಂದೇ ದಿನದೊಳಗೆ ಒಂದು ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲೇ, ಪುತ್ರ ಶೋಕ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಧವಾ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯು ಇವೆರಡೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಬರುವವು; ನಿನ್ನ ಮಂತ್ರಗಳು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿರುವದ ರಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಾಟಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದಲೂ ಅವು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರುವವು.
