ನಾವು ಸಮುದ್ರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡಿ ಇತಾಲ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಔಗುಸ್ತನ ಪಟಾಲಮಿನ ಶತಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಯೂಲ್ಯ ಎಂಬವನಿಗೆ ಪೌಲನನ್ನೂ ಬೇರೆ ಕೆಲವು ಕೈದಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
