ಆಗ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಜನರು ಎಲೀಷನಿಗೆ-- ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಮ್ಮ ಒಡೆಯನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೆ ನೀರು ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದು, ಭೂಮಿ ಬಂಜೆಯಾದದ್ದು ಅಂದರು.

ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಪ್ತವಾಗುವವು.
