ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಬಲ ಹೀನರಾಗಿ ಹೆದರಿ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಟ್ಟರು. ಹೊಲದ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಹಸುರು ಪಲ್ಯದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗೆಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬೆಳೆಯುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಬಾಡುವ ಪೈರಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದರು.
