ಆಗ ಚೀಯೋನೆಂಬ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಮಂಜೂಷವನ್ನು ತರುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸೊಲೊಮೋನನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳಾದ ತಂದೆಗಳಾಗಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಗೋತ್ರಗಳ ಯಜಮಾನರನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.

ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ದಾವೀದನು ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಕೋಟೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಡುಕೊಂಡನು. ಅದೇ ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು.
