1 Samuel 19:10
ಆಗ ಸೌಲನು ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಈಟಿಯಿಂದ ಗೋಡೆಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಹೊಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯತ್ನಿಸಿದನು; ಆದರೆ ಇವನು ಸೌಲನ ಎದುರಿನಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಈಟಿಯು ಗೋಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅವನು ಹೊಡೆದನು. ದಾವೀದನು ಆ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು.
