1 Corinthians 15:54
ಲಯವಾಗುವಂಥದ್ದು ನಿರ್ಲಯತ್ವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು, ಮರಣಾಧೀನವಾಗಿರುವಂಥದ್ದು ಅಮರ ತ್ವವನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು; ಆಗ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಮಾತು ನೆರವೇರುವದು, ಆ ಮಾತು ಏನಂದರೆ--ಜಯವು ಮರಣವನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿತು ಎಂಬದೇ.
