Ecclesiastes 9:2
ಎಲ್ಲವು ಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಬಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವವು. ನೀತಿವಂತನಿಗೂ ದುಷ್ಟನಿಗೂ ಸಂಗತಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಿಗೂ ಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೂ ಅಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವವನಿಗೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸದವನಿಗೂ ಒಂದೇ ಗತಿಯಾಗುವದು. ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ವನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಪಾಪಿಯೂ ಇರುವನು; ಆಣೆಯಿಡು ವವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆಣೆಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವ ವನೂ ಇರುವನು.

ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ವನಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಆನಂದವನ್ನೂ ದಯಪಾಲಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ದೇವರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯವನಿಗೆ ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಒದಗಿಸು ವಂತೆ ಪಾಪಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವೂ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯಾಸಕರವೂ ಆಗಿದೆ.

ದುಷ್ಟರು ಯಾಕೆ ಬದುಕಿ ಮುದುಕರಾಗಿ ಹೌದು, ತ್ರಾಣದಿಂದ ಬಲಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ?
