Daniel 3:24
ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆ ಚ್ಚರನು ವಿಸ್ಮಯಗೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ತ್ವರೆಯಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನಾಗಾರರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ನಾವು ಮೂವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿ ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದೆ ವಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ಹೌದು, ಸತ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.

ಆದದರಿಂದ ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನನ್ನ ಆಲೋಚನೆಯು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಮ್ಮತಿ ಯಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ನೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಳಿಸಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಅನ್ಯಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಡವರಿಗೆ ದಯೆ ತೋರಿಸುವದ ರಿಂದ ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡು. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಇದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿಯು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಬಹುದು.

ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ಆ ಮರವು ನೀನೇ ಆಗಿರುವಿ, ನೀನು ಬೆಳೆದು ಬಲವಾಗಿರುವಿ; ಹೌದು, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಹತ್ತು ಬೆಳೆದು ಆಕಾಶಕ್ಕೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಂತ್ಯದ ವರೆಗೂ ಮುಟ್ಟುವದು.

ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದರೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಸೇವಿಸುವ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಉರಿಯುವ ಬೆಂಕಿಯ ಆವಿಗೆಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಲು ಸಮರ್ಥನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು.
