ನಾನು ಈಗ ನಿನಗೆ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ಪಾರಸಿಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಅರಸರು ನಿಲ್ಲುವರು; ನಾಲ್ಕನೆಯವನು ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಬಹಳ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವಂತನಾಗಿರುವನು; ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯದಿಂದ ಗ್ರೀಕ್ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಹುರಿದುಂಬಿಸು ವನು.

ಅವನು ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಶಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡ ದಂಡೆತ್ತಿ ಬರುವನು; ದಕ್ಷಿಣದ ಅರಸನೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಕ್ಕೆ ಸನ್ನದ್ಧನಾಗುವನು. ಆದರೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಾರದೆ ಹೋಗುವನು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಕುಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವರು.

ಅವನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಬಂದ ಕಾರಣವು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತೇ? ಈಗ ನಾನು ಪಾರಸಿಯ ಪ್ರಭುವಿನ ಸಂಗಡ (ಕಾದಾಡಲು) ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಾನು ಹೋದ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಗೋ, ಗ್ರೀಕ್ ಪ್ರಭುವು ಬರುವನು.

ಆ ಟಗರು ಪಶ್ಚಿಮಕ್ಕೂ ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೂ ದಕ್ಷಿಣಕ್ಕೂ ಹಾದಾಡುತ್ತಿರು ವದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು. ಮೃಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವದೂ ಅದರೆದುರಿಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲಲಾರದೇ ಹೋಯಿತು. ಅದರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗು ವಂತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ ಅದು ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
Daniel 7:5
ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಗೋ, ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಎರಡ ನೆಯ ಮೃಗವು ಕರಡಿಯ ಹಾಗಿರುವಂಥದ್ದು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಹೆಗಲನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಇದರ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಪಕ್ಕೆಲುಬುಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು --ಎದ್ದೇಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದರು.
