ನೀನು ಅರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವದ ರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮರ್ಮಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚುವದರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಮರ್ಥನೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಹೀಗಾದರೆ ಆ ಬರಹವನ್ನು ಓದುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಧೂಮ್ರವಸ್ತ್ರ ಧರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಚಿನ್ನದ ಹಾರ ಹಾಕಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವನಾಗಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂರನೆಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಯಾಗುವಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

ಅವರು ಯೋಸೇಫನಿಗೆ--ನಾವು ಕನಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ; ಆದರೆ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಹೇಳುವವರಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದರು. ಯೋಸೇಫನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥ ಹೇಳುವದು ದೇವರದಲ್ಲವೋ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.

ಆಗ ಬೇಲ್ಯಚ್ಚರನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಲು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಧೂಮ್ರ ವಸ್ತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊದಿಸಿ, ಅವನ ಕೊರಳಿಗೆ ಹಾರವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಿ, ಇವನು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಮೂವರು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನೆಂದು ಸಾರಿ ದನು.
