ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುವದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆಂಡತಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಳೆಯಾಗು ವಳು; ನಿನ್ನ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಕತ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದ ಬೀಳುವರು; ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶವು ನೂಲಿನಿಂದ ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು; ನೀನು ಅಪವಿತ್ರವಾದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಯುವಿ. ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಸೆರೆಯಾಗಿ ಒಯ್ಯಲ್ಪಡುವದು.
