Amos 2
4 ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೂರು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕರ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅದಕ್ಕಾಗುವ ದಂಡನೆಯನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ನಿರಾಕರಿಸಿದರು. ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಅನುಸರಿಸಿದ ಸುಳ್ಳುಗಳೇ ಇವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಗಸ್ತರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿವೆ.
5 ನಾನು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು; ಅದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಅರಮನೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ನುಂಗಿ ಬಿಡುವದು.
4 Thus saith the Lord; For three transgressions of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law of the Lord, and have not kept his commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their fathers have walked:
5 But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem.
