Acts 24
1 ಐದು ದಿವಸಗಳಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹಾ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಅನನೀಯನು ಹಿರಿಯರೊಂದಿಗೂ ಒಬ್ಬಾನೊಬ್ಬ ವಾಕ್ಚಾತುರ್ಯನಾದ ತೆರ್ತುಲ್ಲ ನೆಂಬವನೊಂದಿಗೂ ಬಂದು ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಅಧಿಪತಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
2 ಪೌಲ ನನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿದಾಗ ತೆರ್ತುಲ್ಲನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಿ--ಮಹಾಗೌರವವುಳ್ಳ ಫೇಲಿಕ್ಸನೇ, ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ನಾವು ಬಹು ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ಯಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಾಂಬರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಈ ಜನಾಂಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬಹು ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವದರಿಂದಲೂ
3 ನಾವು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯಿಂದ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
4 ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳಿಸದಂತೆ ನಾವು ಹೇಳುವ ಕೆಲವು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ದಯದಿಂದ ನೀನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
5 ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇವನು ಉಪದ್ರವ ಕೊಡುವವನೂ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಗೆಯನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವವನೂ ನಜರೇತಿನ ಪಂಗಡದವರ ಮುಖಂ ಡನೂ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಕಂಡೆವು.
6 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವಾ ಲಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಇವನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೆವು.
7 ಆದರೆ ಮುಖ್ಯನಾಯಕನಾದ ಲೂಸ್ಯನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಮಹಾ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ,
8 ನಾವು ಯಾವ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೋ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನೇ ಸ್ವತಃ ಅವನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸು ವವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
9 ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ನಿಜವೆಂದು ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರು ಸಹ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿದರು ಅಂದನು.
1 And after five days Ananias the high priest descended with the elders, and with a certain orator named Tertullus, who informed the governor against Paul.
2 And when he was called forth, Tertullus began to accuse him, saying, Seeing that by thee we enjoy great quietness, and that very worthy deeds are done unto this nation by thy providence,
3 We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
4 Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
5 For we have found this man a pestilent fellow, and a mover of sedition among all the Jews throughout the world, and a ringleader of the sect of the Nazarenes:
6 Who also hath gone about to profane the temple: whom we took, and would have judged according to our law.
7 But the chief captain Lysias came upon us, and with great violence took him away out of our hands,
8 Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
9 And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.

3 ನಾವು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯಿಂದ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.
We accept it always, and in all places, most noble Felix, with all thankfulness.
4 ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬೇಸರಗೊಳಿಸದಂತೆ ನಾವು ಹೇಳುವ ಕೆಲವು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ದಯದಿಂದ ನೀನು ಕೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.
Notwithstanding, that I be not further tedious unto thee, I pray thee that thou wouldest hear us of thy clemency a few words.
5 ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಇವನು ಉಪದ್ರವ ಕೊಡುವವನೂ ಪ್ರಪಂಚದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಗೆಯನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವವನೂ ನಜರೇತಿನ ಪಂಗಡದವರ ಮುಖಂ ಡನೂ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ಕಂಡೆವು.

6 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವಾ ಲಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಲೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿದ ಇವನನ್ನು ನಾವು ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ನಮ್ಮ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಕ್ಕನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದೆವು.

7 ಆದರೆ ಮುಖ್ಯನಾಯಕನಾದ ಲೂಸ್ಯನು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಮಹಾ ಬಲಾತ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಿ,

8 ನಾವು ಯಾವ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೋ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನೀನೇ ಸ್ವತಃ ಅವನನ್ನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಿ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪು ಹೊರಿಸು ವವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
Commanding his accusers to come unto thee: by examining of whom thyself mayest take knowledge of all these things, whereof we accuse him.
9 ಅದೇ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳು ನಿಜವೆಂದು ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರು ಸಹ ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಿದರು ಅಂದನು.
And the Jews also assented, saying that these things were so.
