Acts 17 - YLT (Kannada)

1 And having passed through Amphipolis, and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was the synagogue of the Jews,ಮುಂದೆ ಅವರು ಅಂಫಿಪೊಲಿ ಅಪೊ ಲೊನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ದಾಟಿ ಥೆಸಲೊನೀಕಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರದೊಂದು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರ ವಿತ್ತು.

2 and according to the custom of Paul, he went in unto them, and for three sabbaths he was reasoning with them from the Writings,ಪೌಲನು ತನ್ನ ಪದ್ಧತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಮೂರು ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಹಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾದಿಸಿ

3 opening and alleging, `That the Christ it behoved to suffer, and to rise again out of the dead, and that this is the Christ -- Jesus whom I proclaim to you.'ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಬಾಧೆಯನ್ನನುಭವಿಸಿ ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಬರುವದು ಅಗತ್ಯವೆಂತಲೂ--ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸುವ ಈ ಯೇಸುವೇ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನೆಂತಲೂ ದೃಢವಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

4 And certain of them did believe, and attached themselves to Paul and to Silas, also of the worshipping Greeks a great multitude, of the principal women also not a few.ಆಗ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರೂ ಭಕ್ತ ರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಗ್ರೀಕರ ದೊಡ್ಡದೊಂದು ಸಮೂಹವೂ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರೂ ನಂಬಿ ಪೌಲ ಸೀಲರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.

5 And the unbelieving Jews, having been moved with envy, and having taken to them of the loungers certain evil men, and having made a crowd, were setting the city in an uproar; having assailed also the house of Jason, they were seeking them to bring `them' to the populace,ನಂಬದಿರುವ ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರು ಹೊಟ್ಟೇಕಿಚ್ಚುಪಟ್ಟು ನೀಚರಾದ ಕೆಲವು ದುಷ್ಟ ರನ್ನು ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಗುಂಪು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗದ್ದಲವನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ಪೌಲ ಸೀಲರನ್ನು ಜನರೆದುರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾ ಯಾಸೋನನ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಿದ್ದರು.

6 and not having found them, they drew Jason and certain brethren unto the city rulers, calling aloud -- `These, having put the world in commotion, are also here present,ಅವರು ಸಿಕ್ಕದೆ ಹೋದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆ ಜನರು ಯಾಸೋನನನ್ನೂ ಕೆಲವು ಮಂದಿ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಳ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಎಳಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ--ಲೋಕವನ್ನು ತಲೆಕೆಳಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೂ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ;

7 whom Jason hath received; and these all do contrary to the decrees of Caesar, saying another to be king -- Jesus.'ಯಾಸೋನನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರು ಯೇಸುವೆಂಬ ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬ ಅರಸನು ಇದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಕೈಸರನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಕೂಗಿದರು.

8 And they troubled the multitude and the city rulers, hearing these things,ಜನರೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೂ ಈ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಕಳವಳಪಟ್ಟು

9 and having taking security from Jason and the rest, they let them go.ಯಾಸೋನ ಮೊದಲಾ ದವರಿಂದ ಹೊಣೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

10 And the brethren immediately, through the night, sent forth both Paul and Silas to Berea, who having come, went to the synagogue of the Jews;ಕೂಡಲೆ ಸಹೊದರರು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪೌಲಸೀಲ ರನ್ನು ಬೆರೋಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು; ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.

11 and these were more noble than those in Thessalonica, they received the word with all readiness of mind, every day examining the Writings whether those things were so;ಅಲ್ಲಿಯವರು ಥೆಸಲೊನೀಕದವರಿಗಿಂತ ಸದ್ಗುಣ ವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದು ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಅಂಗೀ ಕರಿಸಿ ಇವರು ಹೇಳುವ ಮಾತುಗಳು ಹೌದೋ ಏನೋ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಬರಹಗಳನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿ ಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

12 many, indeed, therefore, of them did believe, and of the honourable Greek women and men not a few.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಮಂದಿ ನಂಬಿದರು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕುಲೀನರಾದ ಗ್ರೀಕ್‌ ಹೆಂಗಸರ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಗಂಡಸರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅನೇಕರು ನಂಬಿದರು.

13 And when the Jews from Thessalonica knew that also in Berea was the word of God declared by Paul, they came thither also, agitating the multitudes;ಆದರೆ ಪೌಲನು ಬೆರೋಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಾರುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಥೆಸಲೊನೀಕದ ಯೆಹೂ ದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಅಲ್ಲಿಗೂ ಬಂದು ಜನರ ಗುಂಪುಗಳನ್ನು ರೇಗಿಸಿದರು.

14 and then immediately the brethren sent forth Paul, to go on as it were to the sea, but both Silas and Timothy were remaining there.ಕೂಡಲೆ ಸಹೋದರರು ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ತನಕ ಸಾಗ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು. ಆದರೆ ಸೀಲನೂ ತಿಮೊಥೆಯನೂ ಅಲ್ಲೇ ನಿಂತರು.

15 And those conducting Paul, brought him unto Athens, and having received a command unto Silas and Timotheus that with all speed they may come unto him, they departed;ಪೌಲನನ್ನು ಸಾಗಕಳುಹಿಸಿದವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಥೇನೆಯವರೆಗೂ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ ಸೀಲ ನನ್ನೂ ತಿಮೊಥೆಯನನ್ನೂ ಬೇಗ ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರ ಬೇಕೆಂಬ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಅವನಿಂದ ಹೊಂದಿ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು.

16 and Paul waiting for them in Athens, his spirit was stirred in him, beholding the city wholly given to idolatry,ಪೌಲನು ಅವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅಥೇನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವಾಗ ಆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಗ್ರಹಾರಾ ಧನೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿರುವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಅವನ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಅವನೊಳಗೆ ಕುದಿಯಿತು.

17 therefore, indeed, he was reasoning in the synagogue with the Jews, and with the worshipping persons, and in the market-place every day with those who met with him.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಭಕ್ತಿವಂತರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಪೇಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸಂಧಿಸಿದವರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ವಾದಿಸಿದನು.

18 And certain of the Epicurean and of the Stoic philosophers, were meeting together to see him, and some were saying, `What would this seed picker wish to say?' and others, `Of strange demons he doth seem to be an announcer;' because Jesus and the rising again he did proclaim to them as good news,ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಎಪಿಕೂರಿಯರು, ಸ್ತೋಯಿಕರು ಎಂಬ ತತ್ವ ವಿಚಾರಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿದರು. ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರು--ಈ ಮಾತಾಳಿ ಏನು ಹೇಳಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದರು. ಅವನು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿಯೂ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದ ವಿಷಯ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಾರುತ್ತಿದ್ದದರಿಂದ--ಇವನು ಅನ್ಯ ದೇವರ

19 having also taken him, unto the Areopagus they brought `him', saying, `Are we able to know what `is' this new teaching that is spoken by thee,ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಅರಿಯೊಪಾಗಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡುಹೋಗಿ--ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವ ಈ ನೂತನವಾದ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ನಾವು ತಿಳಿಯಬಹುದೋ?

20 for certain strange things thou dost bring to our ears? we wish, then, to know what these things would wish to be;'ಅಪೂರ್ವವಾದ ಕೆಲವು ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ಶ್ರುತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತೀಯಲ್ಲಾ. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥ ವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮಗೆ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಯದೆ ಅಂದರು.

21 and all Athenians, and the strangers sojourning, for nothing else were at leisure but to say something, and to hear some newer thing.(ಅಥೇನೆಯರೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪರಸ್ಥಳ ದವರೂ ಹೊಸ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆ ಯಾವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಮಯ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ).

22 And Paul, having stood in the midst of the Areopagus, said, `Men, Athenians, in all things I perceive you as over-religious;ಆಗ ಪೌಲನು ಅಂಗಾರಕದ ಬೆಟ್ಟದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು--ಅಥೇನೆಯ ಜನರೇ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಮೂಢ ಭಕ್ತರೆಂದು ನಾನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

23 for passing through and contemplating your objects of worship, I found also an erection on which had been inscribed: To God -- unknown; whom, therefore -- not knowing -- ye do worship, this One I announce to you.ನಾನು ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರಲು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಧ್ಯಾನಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಒಂದು ಬಲಿಪೀಠವು ನನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಬಿತ್ತು; ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ--ತಿಳಿಯದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಎಂದು ಬರೆದಿತ್ತು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀವು ಯಾವದನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯದೆ ಪೂಜಿಸುತ್ತೀರೋ ಅದನ್ನೇ ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿ ಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

24 `God, who did make the world, and all things in it, this One, of heaven and of earth being Lord, in temples made with hands doth not dwell,ಜಗತ್ತನ್ನೂ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಿದ ದೇವರು ಭೂಮ್ಯಾಕಾಶಗಳ ಒಡೆಯ ನಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಗುಡಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವಾತನಲ್ಲ.

25 neither by the hands of men is He served -- needing anything, He giving to all life, and breath, and all things;ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ತಾನೇ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಶ್ವಾಸವನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವಾತ ನಾಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಕೊರತೆಯಿದ್ದವನಂತೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಗಳಿಂದ ಆರಾಧನೆ ಹೊಂದುವಾತನಲ್ಲ;

26 He made also of one blood every nation of men, to dwell upon all the face of the earth -- having ordained times before appointed, and the bounds of their dwellings --ಆತನು ಒಂದೇ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನು ಭೂಮುಖದ ಮೇಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ವಾಸಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದನು.

27 to seek the Lord, if perhaps they did feel after Him and find, -- though, indeed, He is not far from each one of us,ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ದೂರ ವಾದವನಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೂ ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ತಡವಾಡಿ ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡಾರೇನೋ ಎಂದು ಮೊದಲೇ ನೇಮಕ ವಾದ ಕಾಲಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ನಿವಾಸದ ಮೇರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿಶ್ಚಯಿಸಿದನು.

28 for in Him we live, and move, and are; as also certain of your poets have said: For of Him also we are offspring.ಆತನಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಾವು ಜೀವಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಚಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಇರುತ್ತೇವೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಂತ ಕವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಕೆಲವರು--ನಾವೂ ಆತನ ಸಂತಾನದವರೇ ಎಂಬ ದಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

29 `Being, therefore, offspring of God, we ought not to think the Godhead to be like to gold, or silver, or stone, graving of art and device of man;ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಸಂತಾನದವ ರಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲೆ ದೈವತ್ವವು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಶಿಲ್ಪ ವಿದ್ಯೆ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕಲ್ಪನೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಕೆತ್ತಿರುವ ಚಿನ್ನ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿ ಕಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನವೆಂದು ನಾವು ಭಾವಿಸಲೇಬಾರದು.

30 the times, indeed, therefore, of the ignorance God having overlooked, doth now command all men everywhere to reform,ಈ ಅಜ್ಞಾನಕಾಲಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರುಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಈಗಲಾದರೋ ಆತನು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮನು ಷ್ಯರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತಾನೆ.

31 because He did set a day in which He is about to judge the world in righteousness, by a man whom He did ordain, having given assurance to all, having raised him out of the dead.'ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನು ನಿಷ್ಕರ್ಷೆಮಾಡಿದ ಪುರುಷನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನೀತಿಗನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಭೂಲೋಕದ ನ್ಯಾಯವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ದಿವಸ ವನ್ನು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆತನನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಆಧಾರ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

32 And having heard of a rising again of the dead, some, indeed, were mocking, but others said, `We will hear thee again concerning this;'ಸತ್ತವರ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ಕೆಲವರು ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡಿದರು; ಬೇರೆ ಕೆಲವರು--ನೀನು ಈ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳುವದನ್ನು ನಾವು ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಸಾರಿ ಕೇಳುತ್ತೇವೆ ಅಂದರು.

33 and so Paul went forth from the midst of them,ಹೀಗಿರಲು ಪೌಲನು ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದನು.

34 and certain men having cleaved to him, did believe, among whom `is' also Dionysius the Areopagite, and a woman, by name Damaris, and others with them.ಆದರೂ ಕೆಲವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡು ನಂಬಿದರು; ನಂಬಿದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಿಯೊ ಪಾಗದ ದಿಯೊನುಸ್ಯನೂ ದಾಮರಿಯೆಂಬಾಕೆಯೂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನು ಕೆಲವರೂ ಇದ್ದರು.
