Acts 13 - BBE (Kannada)

1 Now there were at Antioch, in the church there, prophets and teachers, Barnabas, and Symeon who was named Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, a relation of Herod the king, and Saul.ಅಂತಿಯೋಕ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಸಭೆಯೊಳಗೆ ಕೆಲವರು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೂ ಬೋಧಕರೂ ಇದ್ದರು; ಯಾರಾರೆಂದರೆ, ಬಾರ್ನಬ, ನೀಗರನೆಂಬ ಸಿಮೆಯೋನ, ಕುರೇನ್ಯದ ಲೂಕ್ಯ, ಚತುರಾಧಿ ಪತಿಯಾದ ಹೆರೋದನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆಳೆದ ಮೆನಹೇನ ಮತ್ತು ಸೌಲ ಇವರೇ.

2 And while they were doing the Lord's work, and going without food, the Holy Spirit said, Let Barnabas and Saul be given to me for the special work for which they have been marked out by me.ಇವರು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಉಪವಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದಾಗ ಪವಿ ತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು--ನಾನು ಬಾರ್ನಬ ಸೌಲರನ್ನು ಕರೆದ ಕೆಲಸಕ್ಕೆ ನನಗಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕಿಸಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

3 Then, after prayer and going without food they put their hands on them, and sent them away.ಆಗ ಅವರು ಉಪವಾಸವಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನಿಟ್ಟು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

4 So, being sent out by the Holy Spirit, they went down to Seleucia; and from there they went by ship to Cyprus.ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವ ರಾಗಿ ಸೆಲ್ಯೂಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟುಹೋದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಸಮುದ್ರ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವಾಗಿ ಕುಪ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.

5 And at Salamis they were preaching the word of God in the Synagogues of the Jews: and John was with them, helping them.ಅವರು ಸಲವಿಾಸಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಸಭಾ ಮಂದಿರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದರು. ಯೋಹಾನನು ಸಹ ಪರಿಚಾರಕನಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನು.

6 And when they had gone through all the island to Paphos, they came across a certain wonder-worker and false prophet, a Jew whose name was Bar-Jesus;ಅವರು ದ್ವೀಪದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಪಾಫೋಸಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಬಾರ್‌ಯೇಸು ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಂಡರು.

7 Who was with the ruler, Sergius Paulus, an able man. This man sent for Barnabas and Saul, desiring to have knowledge of the word of God.ಅವನು ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದ ಸೆರ್ಗ್ಯ ಪೌಲನೆಂಬ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದನು. ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು ಬಾರ್ನಬ ಸೌಲರನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿದನು.

8 But Elymas, the wonder-worker (for that is the sense of his name), put himself against them, with the purpose of turning the ruler from the faith.ಆದರೆ ಆ ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಎಲುಮನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎದುರು ನಿಂತು ಅಧಿಪತಿಯನ್ನು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ತಿರುಗಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದನು. (ಎಲುಮನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಮಂತ್ರವಾದಿ ಎಂಬದು ಅರ್ಥ).

9 But Saul, whose other name is Paul, being full of the Holy Spirit, looking hard at him, said,ಆಗ ಸೌಲನು (ಇವನು ಪೌಲನೆಂಬದಾಗಿಯೂ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನು) ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮಭರಿತನಾಗಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ದೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿ ನೋಡಿ--

10 O you, who are full of false tricks and evil ways, a son of the Evil One, hating all righteousness, will you for ever be turning people from the right ways of the Lord?ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೋಸದಿಂದಲೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೆಟ್ಟತನ ದಿಂದಲೂ ತುಂಬಿರುವವನೇ, ಸೈತಾನನ ಮಗನೇ, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನೀತಿಗೂ ವಿರೋಧಿಯೇ, ನೀನು ಕರ್ತನ ನೀಟಾದ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಡೊಂಕು ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೋ?

11 And now, see, the hand of the Lord is on you, and you will be blind and not able to see the sun for a time. And straight away a dark mist came down on him; and he went about looking for a guide.ಇಗೋ, ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೈ ಎತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನೀನು ಕುರುಡನಾಗಿ ಕೆಲವು ಕಾಲ ಸೂರ್ಯನನ್ನು ಕಾಣದೆ ಇರುವಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆ ಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮೊಬ್ಬಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತಲೆ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು; ಅವನು ಕೈ ಹಿಡಿದು ನಡಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಾ ತಿರುಗಾಡಿದನು.

12 Then the ruler, when he saw what was done, had faith, being full of wonder at the teaching of the Lord.ಆಗ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯು ನಡೆದದ್ದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಬೋಧನೆಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಟ್ಟು ನಂಬಿದನು.

13 Then Paul and those who were with him went by ship from Paphos and came to Perga in Pamphylia: and there John went away from them and came back to Jerusalem.ತರುವಾಯ ಪೌಲನೂ ಅವನ ಜೊತೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರೂ ಪಾಫೋಸನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಪಂಪುಲ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಪೆರ್ಗೆಗೆ ಬಂದರು; ಯೋಹಾನನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹೋದನು;

14 But they, going through from Perga, came to Antioch in Pisidia; and they went into the Synagogue on the Sabbath and were seated.ಆಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಪೆರ್ಗೆಯಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಪಿಸಿದ್ಯ ಸೀಮೆಗೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಅಂತಿಯೋಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು. ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಂಡರು.

15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets, the rulers of the Synagogue sent to them, saying, Brothers, if you have a word of comfort for the people, say on.ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳಗ್ರಂಥವು ಪಾರಾಯಣವಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರದ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಳು--ಜನರೇ, ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳತಕ್ಕ ಬುದ್ಧಿಮಾತೇನಾದರೂ ನಿಮಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಹೇಳಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.

16 And Paul, getting up and making a sign with his hand, said, Men of Israel, and you who have the fear of God, give ear.ಆಗ ಪೌಲನು ಎದ್ದು ಕೈಸನ್ನೆಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರೇ, ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರೇ, ಕೇಳಿರಿ.

17 The God of this people Israel made selection of our fathers, lifting the people up from their low condition when they were living in the land of Egypt, and with a strong arm took them out of it.ಈ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃ ಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಆ ಜನರು ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದಾಗ ಅವರನ್ನು ವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತಂದು ತನ್ನ ಭುಜಬಲದಿಂದ ಆ ದೇಶದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬರಮಾಡಿ ದನು.

18 And for about forty years he put up with their ways in the waste land.ಆತನು ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ಅಡವಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ನಡಾವಳಿಯನ್ನು ಸಹಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು

19 And having put to destruction seven nations in the land of Canaan, he gave them the land for their heritage for about four hundred and fifty years.ಕಾನಾನ್‌ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಏಳು ಜನಾಂಗ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚೀಟು ಹಾಕಿ ಆ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

20 And after these things he gave them judges, till the time of Samuel the prophet.ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಸಮುವೇಲನ ವರೆಗೆ ಸುಮಾರು ನಾನೂರೈವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಆತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯಸ್ಥಾಪಕರನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

21 Then at their request for a king, God gave them Saul, the son of Kish, a man of the family of Benjamin, who was their king for forty years.ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ತಮಗೆ ಅರಸನು ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷೆಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ದೇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನನ ಗೋತ್ರದ ಕೀಷನ ಮಗನಾದ ಸೌಲನನ್ನು ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷದ ವರೆಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

22 And having put him on one side, he made David their king, to whom he gave witness, saying, I have taken David, the son of Jesse, a man dear to my heart, who will do all my pleasure.ತರುವಾಯ ಆತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಹಾಕಿ ದಾವೀದನು ಅವರ ಅರಸನಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದನು; ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಆತನು ಅವನ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು--ನಾನು ಇಷಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ದಾವೀದನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡೆನು, ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಹೃದಯವು ಒಪ್ಪುವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಚಿ

23 From this man's seed has God given to Israel a Saviour, even Jesus, as he gave his word;ಇವನ ಸಂತಾನದಿಂದ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ವಾಗ್ದಾನದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಯೇಸು ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ರಕ್ಷಕನನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

24 For whose coming John made ready the way by preaching to all the people of Israel the baptism which goes with a change of heart.ಆತನ ಆಗಮನಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ಯೋಹಾನನು ಮೊದಲು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಜನರೆ ಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ಮಾನಸಾಂತರದ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮವನ್ನು ಸಾರಿದನು.

25 And when John was completing his work, he said, What do I seem to you to be? I am not he; but one is coming after me, whose shoes I am not good enough to undo.ಯೋಹಾನನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುತ್ತಿರಿವಾಗ ಜನರಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಯಾರೆಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ? ನಾನು ಆತನಲ್ಲ; ಆದರೆ ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಒಬ್ಬಾತನು ಬರುತ್ತಾನೆ, ಆತನ ಪಾದದ ಕೆರಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಚ್ಚುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಯೋಗ್ಯನಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

26 My brothers, children of the family of Abraham, and those among you who have the fear of God, to us the word of this salvation is sent.ಜನರೇ, ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ವಂಶ ಸ್ಥರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವವರೇ, ನಿಮಗೆ ಈ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಯದೆ.

27 For the men of Jerusalem and their rulers, having no knowledge of him, or of the sayings of the prophets which come to their ears every Sabbath day, gave effect to them by judging him.ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವವರೂ ಅವರ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಗಳೂ ಆತನನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಪ್ರತಿ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾರಾ ಯಣವಾಗುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನಾಗಲೀ ಗ್ರಹಿಸದೆ ಆತನನ್ನು ಅಪರಾಧಿಯೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಪುಮಾಡಿ ಆ ವಾಕ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೇ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು.

28 And though no cause of death was seen in him, they made a request to Pilate that he might be put to death.ಮರಣದಂಡನೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವೇನೂ ತಮಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕದಿದ್ದರೂ ಆತನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪಿಲಾತನನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು.

29 And when they had done all the things said in the Writings about him, they took him down from the tree, and put him in the place of the dead.ಆತನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನು ನೆರ ವೇರಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಮರದಿಂದ ಇಳಿಸಿ ಸಮಾಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟರು.

30 But God gave him back from the dead:ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಆತನನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದನು.

31 And for a number of days he was seen by those who came with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are now his witnesses before the people.ಆತನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಗಲಿಲಾಯ ದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದವರಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ದಿವಸಗಳ ಪರ್ಯಂತರ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವರು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆತನ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

32 And we are giving you the good news of the undertaking made to the fathers,ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ವಾಗ್ದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಂಬ ಶುಭಸಂದೇಶ ವನ್ನು ನಾವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ.

33 Which God has now put into effect for our children, by sending Jesus; as it says in the second Psalm, You are my Son; this day I have given you being.ಏನಂ ದರೆ--ನೀನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನು, ಈ ದಿನ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಎರಡನೆಯ ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ನಮಗೆ ದೇವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಅದನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂಬದೇ.

34 And about his coming back from the dead, never again to go to destruction, he has said these words, I will give you the holy and certain mercies of David.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದೇವರು ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಸತ್ತವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ಇನ್ನೆಂದಿಗೂ ಕೊಳೆಯುವ ಅವಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಸೇರ ತಕ್ಕವನಲ್ಲವೆಂಬದರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆತನು ಹೇಳಿರು ವದೇನಂದರೆ--ದಾವೀದನ ಖಂಡಿತವಾದ ಕರುಣೆ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂಬದು.

35 Because he says in another Psalm, You will not let your Holy One see destruction.ಅದಕ್ಕನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ಆತನು--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪರಿ ಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೆ ಕೊಳೆಯುವ ಅವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಗೊಡಿ ಸುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಬೇರೊಂದು ಕೀರ್ತನೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

36 Now David, having done God's work for his generation, went to sleep, and was put with his fathers, and his body came to destruction:ದಾವೀದನು ದೇವರ ಚಿತ್ತಕ್ಕನು ಸಾರವಾಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸಂತತಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಂತರ ಅವನು ನಿದ್ರೆಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲಿ ಸೇರಿ ಕೊಳೆಯುವ ಅವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದನು.

37 But he, who was lifted up by God, did not see destruction.ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸಿದಾತನು ಕೊಳೆಯುವ ಅವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಲೇ ಇಲ್ಲ.

38 And so, let it be clear to you, my brothers, that through this man forgiveness of sins is offered to you:ಆದದರಿಂದ ಜನರೇ, ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಮೂಲಕವಾಗಿ ಪಾಪಪರಿಹಾರವು ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆಂಬದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಸಾರೋಣವಾಗು ತ್ತದೆಂದೂ

39 And through him everyone who has faith is made free from all those things, from which the law of Moses was not able to make you free.ಮೋಶೆಯ ಯಾವ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣ ದಿಂದ ಯಾವವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ನೀತಿವಂತರೆಂಬ ನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಲಾರದೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಿರೋ ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳಿಂದ ನಂಬುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆತನ ಮೂಲಕ ನೀತಿವಂತರೆಂಬ ನಿರ್ಣಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ನಿಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದಿರಲಿ.

40 So take care that these words of the prophets do not come true for you;ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಗ್ರಂಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿರುವದು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಾರದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಾಗಿರ್ರಿ.

41 See, you doubters, have wonder and come to your end; for I will do a thing in your days to which you will not give belief, even if it is made clear to you.ಅದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಗೋ, ತಿರ ಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡುವವರೇ, ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡಿರಿ, ನಾಶವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗಿರಿ, ನಿಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಕಾರ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವೆನು; ಆ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬನು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರೂ ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮಾತ್ರಕ್ಕೂ ನಂಬುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬದೇ.

42 And when they went out, they made a request that these words might be said to them again on the Sabbath after.ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಸಭಾಮಂದಿರವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಅನ್ಯಜನರು ಈ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರುವ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತಮಗೆ ಸಾರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿಕೊಂಡರು.

43 Now when the meeting was ended, a number of the Jews and of the God-fearing Gentiles who had become Jews, went after Paul and Barnabas: who put before them how important it was to keep on in the grace of God.ಸಭೆಯು ಮುಗಿದ ತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯ ಮತಾವಲಂಬಿ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅನೇಕರು ಪೌಲ ಬಾರ್ನಬರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಬಾ ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಇವರು ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

44 And on the Sabbath after, almost all the town came together to give hearing to the word of God.ಮುಂದಿನ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲಾ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂಡಿಬಂದರು.

45 But when the Jews saw such a great number of people, they were full of envy and said evil words against Paul's preaching.ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಜನ ಸಮೂಹಗಳನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಹೊಟ್ಟೇಕಿಚ್ಚಿನಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿ ದವರಾಗಿ ಪೌಲನು ಹೇಳಿದವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ದೇವದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಎದುರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

46 Then Paul and Barnabas without fear said, It was necessary for the word of God to be given to you first; but because you will have nothing to do with it, and have no desire for eternal life, it will now be offered to the Gentiles.ಆಗ ಪೌಲನೂ ಬಾರ್ನಬನೂ ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ನಿಮಗೇ ಹೇಳುವದು ಅವಶ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು; ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಅದನ್ನು ತಳ್ಳಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪಾತ್ರರೆಂದು ತೀರ್ಪು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ನಾವು ಅನ್ಯಜನರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇವೆ.

47 For so the Lord has given us orders, saying, I have given you for a light to the Gentiles so that you may be for salvation to the ends of the earth.ಯಾಕಂ ದರೆ--ನೀನು ಲೋಕದ ಕಟ್ಟಕಡೆಯ ವರೆಗೆ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗಗಳಿಗೂ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನಾಗಿ ನೇಮಿಸಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

48 And the Gentiles, hearing this, were glad and gave glory to the word of God: and those marked out by God for eternal life had faith.ಅನ್ಯಜನರು ಆ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಹಿಮೆ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವಕ್ಕೆ ನೇಮಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಂಬಿದರು.

49 And the word of the Lord went through all the country.ತರುವಾಯ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಆ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

50 But the Jews, working up the feelings of the God-fearing women of high position and of the chief men of the town, got an attack started against Paul and Barnabas, driving them out of those parts.ಆದರೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಯುಳ್ಳ ಮತ್ತು ಗೌರವವುಳ್ಳ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಮುಖರನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ಪ್ರೇರಿಸಿ ಪೌಲ ಬಾರ್ನಬರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂಸೆ ಯನ್ನೆಬ್ಬಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಮೇರೆಗಳಿಂದ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಟ್ಟಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

51 But they, shaking off the dust of that place from their feet, came to Iconium.ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಧೂಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಝಾಡಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಇಕೋನ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು.

52 And the disciples were full of joy and of the Holy Spirit.ಶಿಷ್ಯರಾದವರು ಸಂತೋಷಪೂರ್ಣರೂ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮ ಭರಿತರೂ ಆದರು.
