Acts 1:12-25 in Kannada

12 Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day’s journey.

13 And when they were come in, they went up into an upper room, where abode both Peter, and James, and John, and Andrew, Philip, and Thomas, Bartholomew, and Matthew, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon Zelotes, and Judas the brother of James.

14 These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

15 And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

16 Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

17 For he was numbered with us, and had obtained part of this ministry.

18 Now this man purchased a field with the reward of iniquity; and falling headlong, he burst asunder in the midst, and all his bowels gushed out.

19 And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

20 For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

21 Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.

23 And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

24 And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,

25 That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.

12 ತರುವಾಯ ಅವರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಿಂದ ಸಬ್ಬತ್‌ ದಿನದ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಷ್ಟು ದೂರವಿದ್ದ ಎಣ್ಣೇಮರಗಳ ತೋಪು ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗುಡ್ಡ ದಿಂದ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದಿರುಗಿದರು.

13 ಪೇತ್ರ, ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಯೋಹಾನ, ಅಂದ್ರೆಯ, ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪ, ತೋಮ, ಬಾರ್ತೊಲೊಮಾಯ, ಮತ್ತಾಯ, ಅಲ್ಫಾ ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯಾಕೋಬ, ಜೆಲೋತನೆಂಬ ಸೀಮೋನ ಮತ್ತು ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಯೂದಾ ಇವರು (ಪಟ್ಟಣದ) ಒಳಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ತಾವು ಇರುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಮೇಲಂತಸ್ತಿನ ಕೊಠಡಿಯೊಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದರು.

14 ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಏಕಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ವಿಜ್ಞಾ ಪನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರೂ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ತಾಯಿಯಾದ ಮರಿಯಳೂ ಆತನ ಸಹೋದರರೂ ಇದ್ದರು.
These all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication, with the women, and Mary the mother of Jesus, and with his brethren.

15 ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ (ನೂರಿಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಸೇರಿ ಬಂದಿರಲಾಗಿ) ಪೇತ್ರನು ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಕೊಂಡು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
And in those days Peter stood up in the midst of the disciples, and said, (the number of names together were about an hundred and twenty,)

16 ಜನರೇ, ಸಹೋದ ರರೇ, ಯೇಸುವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದವರಿಗೆ ದಾರಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಯೂದನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮೊದಲು ದಾವೀದನ ಬಾಯಿಂದ ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮನು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದ ಬರಹವು ನೆರ ವೇರುವದು ಅವಶ್ಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Men and brethren, this scripture must needs have been fulfilled, which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before concerning Judas, which was guide to them that took Jesus.

17 ಅವನು ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಎಣಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಈ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲು ಹೊಂದಿದ ವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

18 ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ದ್ರೋಹದ ಫಲದಿಂದ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡುಕೊಂಡನು; ತಲೆ ಕೆಳಗಾಗಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ಅವನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆ ಒಡೆದು ಕರುಳು ಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೊರಬಿದ್ದವು.

19 ಇದು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮ್‌ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆ ಹೊಲವು--ಅಕೆಲ್ದಮಾ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟಿದೆ, ಅಂದರೆ ರಕ್ತದ ಹೊಲ ಎಂಬದು.
And it was known unto all the dwellers at Jerusalem; insomuch as that field is called in their proper tongue, Aceldama, that is to say, The field of blood.

20 ಯಾಕಂ ದರೆ--ಅವನ ನಿವಾಸವು ಹಾಳುಬೀಳಲಿ; ಯಾವ ಮನುಷ್ಯನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡದಿರಲಿ; ಇನ್ನು ಅವನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಬೇರೊಬ್ಬನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.
For it is written in the book of Psalms, Let his habitation be desolate, and let no man dwell therein: and his bishoprick let another take.

21 ಆದಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತಾ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದ ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ
Wherefore of these men which have companied with us all the time that the Lord Jesus went in and out among us,

22 ಯೋಹಾನನ ಬಾಪ್ತಿಸ್ಮ ಮೊದಲು ಗೊಂಡು ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ದಿನದವರೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಆತನ ಪುನರುತ್ಥಾನದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿರುವಂತೆ ನೇಮಿಸತಕ್ಕದ್ದು.

23 ಆಗ ಯೂಸ್ತನೆನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಬಾರ್ನಬನೆಂಬ ಯೋಸೇಫ ಮತ್ತು ಮತ್ತೀಯ ಎಂಬ ಇಬ್ಬರನ್ನು ಅವರು ನೇಮಕ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

24 ಅವರು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ--ಎಲ್ಲರ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲ್ಲವನಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ,
And they prayed, and said, Thou, Lord, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two thou hast chosen,

25 ಯೂದನು ತನ್ನ ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅಪರಾಧದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಈ ಸೇವೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲತನದಿಂದಲೂ ಬಿದ್ದು ಹೋದನು. ಈಗ ಈ ಸೇವೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅಪೊಸ್ತಲತನದಿಂದಲೂ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಪಾಲುಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ಈ ಇಬ್ಬರಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರನ್ನು ನೀನು ಆರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀಯೋ ತೋರಿಸು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell, that he might go to his own place.
