ಆಯಿಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗದ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ತೆರೆದಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರನ್ನು ಹಿಂದಟ್ಟಿದರು.
