ಆಗ ಅದೋನೀಬೆಜೆಕನು--ನಾನು ಕೈಕಾಲು ಗಳ ಹೆಬ್ಬೆರಳುಗಳನ್ನು ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿದ ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಮಂದಿ ಅರಸುಗಳು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಜಿನ ಕೆಳಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಆಹಾರ ವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರು; ನಾನು ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆನೋ ಹಾಗಾಯೇ ದೇವರು ನನಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಗೆ ಮುಯ್ಯಿಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು. ಅವನನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದರು; ಅವನು ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸತ್ತನು.
