Genesis 28:17
ಅವನು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು--ಈ ಸ್ಥಳವು ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಭಯಂಕರ ವಾದದ್ದು; ಇದು ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯೇ ಹೊರತು ಬೇರೆಯಲ್ಲ; ಇದೇ ಪರಲೋಕದ ಬಾಗಿಲು ಅಂದನು.

ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಸ್ತಂಭವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಈ ಕಲ್ಲು ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯಾಗಿರುವದು. ಆಗ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವದ ರಲ್ಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹತ್ತರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಭಾಗವನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ನಾನು ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.
