ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಯವರನ್ನು ಈಚೆ ದಡಕ್ಕೆ ತರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೇದಾಗಿ ತೋರಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ದಕ್ಕೂ ದೋಣಿಯು ಆಚೇ ದಡದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂತು; ಆಗ ಗೇರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಶಿಮ್ಮಿಯು ಯೊರ್ದನನ್ನು ದಾಟು ತ್ತಲೇ ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--
