ದಾವೀದನು ಅಬೀಷೈಗೂ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೂ--ಇಗೋ, ನನ್ನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ನನ್ನ ಮಗನು ನನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿದರೆ ಎಷ್ಟೋ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿ ಈ ಬೆನ್ಯಾವಿಾನ್ಯನಾದವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾಡುವದು ಯಾವ ದೊಡ್ಡಮಾತು? ಅವ ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿರಿ; ಅವನು ದೂಷಿಸಲಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
