ದಾವೀದನ ಸೇವಕರು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದಾಗ ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ತಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದ ಹಾನೂನ ನಿಗೆ--ದಾವೀದನು ಆದರಣೆ ಹೇಳುವವರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯನ್ನು ಘನ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆಂದು ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೀಯೋ? ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ವನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪಾಳತಿನೋಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಕೆಡವಿಹಾಕುವದಕ್ಕೂ ದಾವೀದನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದರು.
