1 In those days was Hezekiah sick to death. Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz came to him, and said to him, Thus says Yahweh, Set your house in order: for you shall die, and not live.ಆ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಮರಣಕರರೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದನು. ಆಗ ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೋ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ಬದುಕದೆ ಸಾಯುವಿ ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed to Yahweh, saying,ಆಗ ಅವನು ಗೋಡೆಯ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿ--

3 Remember now, Yahweh, I beg you, how I have walked before you in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in your sight. Hezekiah wept sore.ಓ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಸತ್ಯದಿಂದಲೂ ಪೂರ್ಣಹೃದಯದಿಂದಲೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಡೆದು ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆಂದು ನೆನಸು ಅಂದನು. ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಅತ್ತನು.

4 It happened, before Isaiah was gone out into the middle part of the city, that the word of Yahweh came to him, saying,ಆದರೆ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಆವರಣದ ಮಧ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಮುಂಚೆ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಅವ ನಿಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗಿ--

5 Turn back, and tell Hezekiah the prince of my people, Thus says Yahweh, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will heal you; on the third day you shall go up to the house of Yahweh.ನೀನು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ನನ್ನ ಜನರ ನಾಯಕನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣೀರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವಿ.

6 I will add to your days fifteen years; and I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for my own sake, and for my servant David's sake.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಆಯುಷ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹದಿನೈದು ವರುಷ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಕೂಡಿ ಸುತ್ತೇನೆ; ನಿನ್ನನ್ನೂ ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನೂ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಗೆ ಬೀಳದಂತೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಬಿಡುವೆನು. ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಕಾಪಾಡುವೆನೆಂದು ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬದೇ.

7 Isaiah said, Take a cake of figs. They took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಅಂಜೂರದ ಹಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಉಂಡೆಯನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬರ ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಅವರು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಹುಣ್ಣಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಗುಣ ಹೊಂದಿದನು.

8 Hezekiah said to Isaiah, What shall be the sign that Yahweh will heal me, and that I shall go up to the house of Yahweh the third day?ಆದರೆ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಯೆಶಾಯನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥ ಮಾಡುವನೆಂಬದಕ್ಕೂ ನಾನು ಮೂರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗುವೆನೆಂಬದಕ್ಕೂ ನನಗೆ ಗುರುತೇನು ಅಂದನು.

9 Isaiah said, This shall be the sign to you from Yahweh, that Yahweh will do the thing that he has spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten steps, or go back ten steps?ಆಗ ಯೆಶಾಯನು --ಕರ್ತನು, ತಾನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ನೆಂಬದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ನಿನಗೆ ಉಂಟಾಗುವ ಗುರುತು ಇದೇ--ನೆರಳು ಹತ್ತು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲು ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೋ? ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಹತ್ತು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೋ ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

10 Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to decline ten steps: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten steps.ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನು--ನೆರಳು ಹತ್ತು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲು ಇಳಿಯುವದು ಅಲ್ಪವಾದದ್ದು; ಹಾಗಲ್ಲ, ನೆರಳು ಹತ್ತು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

11 Isaiah the prophet cried to Yahweh; and he brought the shadow ten steps backward, by which it had gone down on the dial of Ahaz.ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಮೊರೆಯಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಆಹಾಜನ ಛಾಯಾಸ್ತಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಳಿದುಹೋದ ನೆರ ಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತು ಮೆಟ್ಟಲು ಹಿಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು.

12 At that time Berodach-baladan the son of Baladan, king of Babylon, sent letters and a present to Hezekiah; for he had heard that Hezekiah had been sick.ಅದೇ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಬಲ ದಾನನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆರೋದಕಬಲದಾನನು, ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನು ರೋಗದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಸ್ವಸ್ಥನಾದನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

13 Hezekiah listened to them, and shown them all the house of his precious things, the silver, and the gold, and the spices, and the precious oil, and the house of his armor, and all that was found in his treasures: there was nothing in his house, nor in all his dominion, that Hezekiah didn't show them.ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವರ ಮಾತು ಕೇಳಿ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಂಡಾರದ ಮನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಸುಗಂಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ಒಳ್ಳೇ ತೈಲವನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಆಯುಧ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನೂ ತನ್ನ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದನು. ತನ್ನ ಮನೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದು ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

14 Then came Isaiah the prophet to king Hezekiah, and said to him, What said these men? and from whence came they to you? Hezekiah said, They are come from a far country, even from Babylon.ಆಗ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಆ ಮನುಷ್ಯರು ಏನು ಹೇಳಿದರು? ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು ಅಂದನು. ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು--ಅವರು ದೂರ ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಅಂದರೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂದನು.

15 He said, What have they seen in your house? Hezekiah answered, All that is in my house have they seen: there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.ಅವನು--ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಏನು ನೋಡಿದರು ಅಂದನು. ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು--ನನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಅವರು ನೋಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ನನ್ನ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದು ಒಂದಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

16 Isaiah said to Hezekiah, Hear the word of Yahweh.ಆಗ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳು.

17 Behold, the days come, that all that is in your house, and that which your fathers have laid up in store to this day, shall be carried to Babylon: nothing shall be left, says Yahweh.ಇಗೋ, ದಿನಗಳು ಬರುವವು; ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳು ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಸಂಪಾದಿಸಿ ಇಟ್ಟದ್ದದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಬಾಬೆಲಿಗೆ ಒಯ್ಯ ಲ್ಪಡುವದು. ಒಂದೂ ಉಳಿಯುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ;

18 Of your sons who shall issue from you, whom you shall father, shall they take away; and they shall be eunuchs in the palace of the king of Babylon.ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವ ನಿನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುವರು. ಅವರು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಚುಕಿಯರಾಗಿರು ವರು ಅಂದನು.

19 Then said Hezekiah to Isaiah, Good is the word of Yahweh which you have spoken. He said moreover, Isn't it so, if peace and truth shall be in my days?ಆಗ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಯೆಶಾಯನಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಹೇಳಿದ ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಉತ್ತಮವಾದದ್ದು ಅಂದನು. ಅವನು--ನನ್ನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಧಾ ನವೂ ಸತ್ಯವೂ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಅದು ಉತ್ತಮವಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು.

20 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and all his might, and how he made the pool, and the conduit, and brought water into the city, aren't they written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah?ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಇತರ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳೂ ಅವನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವೂ ಅವನು ಕೆರೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಾಲೆ ಯನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರನ್ನು ಬರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸುಗಳ ವೃತಾಂತಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಡಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು;

21 Hezekiah slept with his fathers; and Manasseh his son reigned in his place.ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸ ನಾದನು.
