ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಗುಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ತಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅಯುಕ್ತ ವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಬರುವ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳು ಮೊದಲು ಗೊಂಡು ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ವರೆಗೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮಗೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದರು.
