ಆದರೆ ಮಹಾಶಕ್ತಿ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಭುಜಪರಾಕ್ರಮದಿಂದಲೂ ಐಗುಪ್ತದೇಶ ದಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ನೀವು ಭಯಪಟ್ಟು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿ ಸಿರಿ.

ನಿನ್ನ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಭಯಪಡಬೇಕು; ಆತನ ಸೇವೆಮಾಡಿ ಆತನಿಗೆ ಅಂಟಿಕೊಂಡು ಆತನ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಬೇಕು.

ನೀನು ಐಗುಪ್ತ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾಸನಾಗಿದ್ದಿ ಎಂದೂ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಅಲ್ಲಿಂದ ಬಲವಾದ ಕೈಯಿಂದಲೂ ಚಾಚಿದ ತೋಳಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಹೊರಗೆ ಬರಮಾಡಿದ ನೆಂದೂ ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನಗೆ ಸಬ್ಬತ್ ದಿವಸವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
