2 Kings 14:6
ಆದರೆ ತಂದೆಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸಾಯಬಾರದು; ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ತಂದೆಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಸಾಯಬಾರದು; ಪ್ರತಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಾಪಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಸಾಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಮೋಶೆಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹೊಡೆದವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಅವನು ಸಾಯಿಸ ಲಿಲ್ಲ.

| Lord the | אֲשֶׁר | ʾăšer | uh-SHER |
| commanded, | צִוָּ֨ה | ṣiwwâ | tsee-WA |
| saying, | יְהוָ֜ה | yĕhwâ | yeh-VA |
| The fathers | לֵאמֹ֗ר | lēʾmōr | lay-MORE |
| not shall | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| be put to death | יוּמְת֨וּ | yûmĕtû | yoo-meh-TOO |
| for | אָב֤וֹת | ʾābôt | ah-VOTE |
| children, the | עַל | ʿal | al |
| nor | בָּנִים֙ | bānîm | ba-NEEM |
| the children | וּבָנִים֙ | ûbānîm | oo-va-NEEM |
| be put to death | לֹֽא | lōʾ | loh |
| for | יוּמְת֣וּ | yûmĕtû | yoo-meh-TOO |
| the fathers; | עַל | ʿal | al |
| but | אָב֔וֹת | ʾābôt | ah-VOTE |
