ಆಗ ಯೆಹೋವಾಹಾಜನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾ ಷನು ಯುದ್ಧದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಯೆಹೋ ವಾಹಾಜನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಹಜಾಯೇಲನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಬೆನ್ಹದದನ ಕೈ ಯಿಂದ ತಿರಿಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು. ಯೋವಾಷನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಸಾರಿ ಹೊಡೆದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು.
