ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರಾದ ಶಿಮೆಯಾತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೊಜಾಕಾರನೂ, ಶೋಮೇರನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋ ಜಾಬಾದನೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸತ್ತುಹೋದನು. ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸ್ಮಶಾನ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು; ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
